Washington Mutual ATMs No Longer Free
In the next few weeks, Washington Mutual ATMs (or as my east coast friends call it, MAC machines) will no longer be free. I know a lot of you out there rely on these usually free ATMs for cash withdrawals, so I thought I’d spread the word to start changing your habits now before the cost of getting to your own money gets higher. Washington Mutual has also funneled lots of money into defeating mass transit here in Seattle, so I’m not a big fan of them regardless.

to be fair, for wamu customers the withdrawls are still free. all this means is that wamu will charge non-wamu customers from making withdrawls (like most banks have been doing for a long time).
