Back in the Saddle Again
After a brief rest from the site due to the holiday and a downed Internet connection (Comcast is not in my good graces as a result), I will return to regular posting. If you see people dancing in the streets with their laptops in hand, you now know why. My thanks to the Seattle Public Library and a few local cafes for the use of their wifi for email and a data fix.

Hey, no kidding about Comcast! They’ve been on my dookie-list for about 6 months. Somehow, some software glitch of theirs keep assigning me the same ‘dynamic’ IP address that is also being assigned to somebody else, so every 3 minutes, while I’m using the internet, it times out, I cannot resolve hosts, and file transfers, etc.. stop.
I’ve called their customer support multiple times, the people have been out here, diagnosed the problem, ‘fixed’ it (which worked for about 3 hours), and now they just ignore me. Argh.
I hate Comcast. There! I said it!
