“Cyber Monday” is a Lie
It’s unfortunate the press has decided to repeat “Cyber Monday” over and over without an ounce of research. If they did their homework, they would find that it’s nothing more than some marketers wet dream. While “black friday” may be the craziest shopping day of the year (which I refer to as “stay home and nap friday”), “cyber monday” is far from a big shopping day. Any online retailer can tell you that online holiday shopping hits it’s peak in mid-December, not late January.
So, if you hear someone bring up “cyber monday”, including your evening television news reporter, tell them they’re full of it.
