Prediction: Bush will Nominate John Ashcroft to the Supreme Court
Clearly this is not something I would like to see happen, but I’m betting it will. Hopefully Senate Democrats will organize a healthy and intelligent fight.

It warms my heart to think that Ashcroft, who couldn’t win an election against a dead man in Missouri, may be given legal authority to interpret our constitution.
