Will Republicans Refuse Stem Cell-Based Treatments?

With California investing $3 Billion US in stem cell research and research outside the United States well under way, effective treatments based on this research are coming.

Once treatments are available, will those individuals who have opposed the research due to their moral belief that the destruction of an embryo is the destruction of a human life, refuse those treatments? When faced with the choice of dying this year with their ‘moral values’ intact or living an additional five years in violation of their own moral code, what choice will they make?
