Jack Spade Man Purse Review

The purchase of a laptop bag or manpurse or whatever you like to call it is an important decision. I live and work out of these bags, so it’s essential I invest in the right one. The Jack Spade Field Bag ended up winning with the right mix of healthy aesthetics, functionality and sturdy build that’s going to last the 2-3 years I generally expect. I also looked at a Tech Field Bag at the SoHo store similar to the Field Bag but with many more pockets and a laptop slip. In the end, I chose the bag with more open space. I highly recommend a trip to the store to see the full line of bags. They have some great stuff including some ties that I had to resist buying. For those who can’t make it to the actual store, Amazon.com has a good selection of Jack Spade Bags.

Is this related to Kate Spade?
It’s her brother, but try not to hold it against him (too much).
Jesus.
This is why we lost Ohio.

Do you still like the bag? I am looking for something too.
I do still like it. It’s held up very well to all the abuse I generally put these bags through. There are times I wish I had gotten the computer version through that is more compartmentalized.
Actually, it’s her husband’s line. But I think his name is Andy and also that they’re divorced now.
I know I’m chiming in a bit late here, but I just received mine today (it’s exactly like yours down to the color) and it’s a very nice bag, but I am truly baffled what they had in mind when they designed the two dual small interior pockets?! There’s not enough depth in them to put much of anything in them save lip balm.
I have the exact same bag in the same colour and it’s lasted me for the past couple of years very nicely. The outer pockets zippered are just what you need if you’re a traveller - holds wallet, keys, passports, very well.
The life of a blog entry is a strange thing; here I am commenting almost four years after the original posting and yet I have confidence that this comment will get read! Anyway…
I have the Jack Spade Nylon Canvas Tech Field Bag (the one he made exclusively for Apple) and it fits my 15.4? Lenovo laptop well and looks like it would even fit a 17? laptop too. Steep price ($189), but heavy duty quality materials and construction and high marks in the fashion department.
I’m kind of partial to Patagonia (does my name give me away?) though for the record, I’m not affiliated with the company at all. However, I’ve become a fan because Patagonia makes some of the highest quality bags available. They’re made to withstand the outdoors, and I just love the fact that I can buy one of their bags and use them for the next 15 years.
You lose a little in the office fashion/style department but if you work in more casual environment and want a bag that will last and be incredibly functional, their bags are the way to go.
