August Wilson Public Viewing on Capitol Hill Today and Tomorrow

August Wilson, an astounding playwright and citizen of Seattle, died a few days ago and it looks like he was kind enough to allow for a public viewing both Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. I can remember seeing Two Trains Running in New York as a kid and walking away with quite an impression. I probably have the Playbill around here somewhere.
You can see him 11 am to 8 pm today and 11 am to 6 pm tomorrow at the Bonney-Watson Funeral Home on Capital Hill. He’ll be buried in Pittsburgh, his hometown.

In honor of August Wilson, I was thinking of reading all his “decade” plays, and ending up by seeing the 1990s one, “Radio Golf”, when it plays at the Rep in Jan-Feb. That might be a bit of a time crunch, though (2-3 plays a month).
