Thank You Seattle and Washington State

Update: Take action at 2045 Seattle to Save Your Seattle Monorail

Although I am disappointed with the results of the national election, I am proud of my new home city and state. Thank you Seattle for voting for mass transit, against a ridiculous gambling bill, and for a couple of strong women to lead us in the Senate and in the Governor’s office. I spent the day campaigning for the monorail and Kerry with a No on I-83 sign and a giant Kerry sign on 1st and Denny. It was time well spent. My thanks to the owner and patrons of Tini Bigs for letting me use their giant sign and for the drinks as well. Thanks goes equally to those who stopped to debate with me in what can only be described as very civil discourse. As one gentleman said while debating the monorail with me “I respect what you’re doing, I just happen to disagree with your choice.”
