Thunderbird (PC) doesn’t see the attachment if “Windows Friendly” is turned off. But Can open attachment.

Outlook (“PC”)DOES see the attachment if “Windows Friendly” is turned off. However, can’t open attachment.

I swear I had this checked long ago, but maybe after a series of upgrades it’s gotten unchecked. I became aware of a problem when windoze users started bitching about “I can’t see the picture you sent”. For all the hype that Apple makes about being more compatible with other OS’s, it’s a wonder this isn’t the default. I mean, why is it even an option to turn off?

and my mac got frowned upon …
now i always keep it checked …
always send all os friendly attachments. period. …
