Apple’s Boot Camp Will Turn Gamers Into Switchers

Apple’s release of Boot Camp, which allows you to run Windows XP on Intel Macs, has a lot of people excited, but none more than gamers.

Over the years, I’ve seen a lot of people make the jump from Windows to Mac and been extremely happy in doing so, but gamers as a group are usually the most reluctant and with good reason. The breadth of games that is available on Windows but not on the Mac is a major factor for gamers and generally more than enough to stop the shift. Although a lot of the major games are available for both platforms, like World of Warcraft, those I know who consider themselves PC gamers would rather not have their options limited.

Now a gamer can get an Intel Mac and jump over to Windows at any time to play the game of their choice.
