Obvious Diversion

Text ads based on the current page’s content can make for some strange company, but I don’t think I’ve seen a stranger match than this. While reading a boingboing story about censorship in public school textbooks, I was served up an advert for Bob Jones University Press. If you aren’t familiar with one or the other, boingboing is a pretty progressive website whereas Bob Jones University bans interracial dating among other things. Time to tweak that content-matching algorithm a tad.
