When and What You Should Buy
in Light of Apple’s Transition to Intel
As mac fanatics struggle with a lovely thing called cognitive dissonance, the question that springs to mind is what should you buy and when should you buy it? The answer is pretty simple. You should buy what you need, when you need it. If you still have equipment that does the job for you, then wait. If you need something new, get it. At the end of the day, it’s still about the tools you need to get your job done.

I know that I was planning to buy a new system soon. The original plan was either an iMac, an iBook (for portability) or a low-end Power Mac. Now I’ll probably get a mini Mac and watch the transition.
