How to Fix Tivo Desktop on Mac OS 10.4
Anyone who has upgraded to Mac OS 10.4 Tiger and tried to install Tivo Desktop has quickly found that Tivo dropped the ball. It doesn’t install properly and simply doesn’t work.
So, what do we do? Well, the current solution seems to be using Tivo Broadcaster 1.0. First, load Tivo Desktop. Then, download Tivo Broadbaster, run the iPhoto fix and then run the broadcaster. It seems to do the trick, although I found over a long enough time that I had to close the broadcaster and start it again.
There is one other thing you can do. Write to Tivo and tell them how pissed off you are about their lack of concern.

I would like to thank you for this help and I would also say that I would pay for a software for Tivo2go for my Mac!! If there is anyone who can hack that one out for us I know I would pay for that for sure!
If you have a hacked tivo (fairly easy, you can jut buy a kit if you aren’t technical) you can use TivoTool to pull shows to your mac.
