Put Full FTP Support in Mac OS X

Why in the world doesn’t Mac OS X include full FTP support in the Finder? Just like in previous versions, Mac OS 10.4 allows you to add an FTP server, but it’s abilities are restricted to read-only. Mac OS has full support of a myriad of protocols through the Finder and Safari. Why in the world is FTP not fully supported? I discovered this when I tried to use Automator to move files across multiple FTP servers.

I suppose I’ll keep using Cyberduck.
