Note to Scoble’s Son About Math Skills
In Scoble’s post entitled Note to my son about his portable choices ahead he says:
Note to my son Patrick: check out the Samsung player that Ken Levy has. See, it’s smaller than the iPod.
The Samsung YP-T7X is smaller than the iPod Shuffle? Let’s check it out.

It looks like the Samsung player that Scoble claims is smaller is, in fact, 73% larger and 60% heavier. Once again, marketing defines reality as it did for PC Magazine and the Seattle Times. Fortunately, math beats marketing on this site. It’s sort of a modern rock, paper, scissors.
