Seattle Times Joins PC Magazine in the Mathematically Challenged Club

The Seattle Times did a comparison of the iPod Mini and the Zen Micro and managed to make the following statement in doing so:
When the Zen Micro arrives, I open the box and pull out a bright, lime-green player that’s a little smaller than the iPod mini and fits perfectly in my hand.
The problem with this statement is that the Zen Micro is larger than the iPod Mini and a little math makes that obvious. In fact, it’s 28% larger and and also heavier as I pointed out in PC Magazine Needs Better Titles. Perception vs. reality I suppose or, more likely, press release vs. spec sheet.

Is that like joining the spelling-challenged club?
True (and fixed). Of course, I don’t have editors nor is this site a major newspaper.
