My dreams of swimming in bandwidth are finally coming true, if slowly and expensively. Speakeasy is broadcasting WiMAX wireless broadband from the top of the Seattle Space Needle. Now, we’ll ignore the fact that WiMAX as a standard doesn’t really exist at this point so as to enjoy the coolness of this. Anyone within the five square mile area can get 6 Mbps to split anyway they please. 3 Mbps up with 3 Mbps down or 1 Mbps up with 5 Mbps down or whatever config suits you.
