Very well written. In less then 30 seconds you summed it up. Best advice to repeat what was written in this article is just wait for the dust to settle, you'll save money as well as avoid buying technology that still has a few kinks in it. It's the same war that went on with VHS and Betamax. Let somebody else be the ginny-pig. Anyway with the price of gas who has money to waste!

I have heard that several PS3's were unable to play some of the latest Blu-Ray discs due to a new copy-protection coating that has been placed on the disks. While I understand some 3rd party manufacturers are having problems, Sony's flagship product shouldn't be having problems with their own technology.

From what I've heard, the PS3 makes both a fantastic blu-ray and dvd player.
