Obvious Diversion

A video iPod will hit the shelves when there’s video content available to watch. With all this speculation as to when we’ll see a video iPod, let’s remember that it’s the content that drives the device sales, not the other way around. Those of us who are a little more geektastic know how to copy our DVDs and such to portable video devices, but this is far from a mainstream activity. The day a video iPod appears is that day Apple reveals an iTunes video store with movies and television shows for sale. I for one can’t wait for this new distribution channel to begin.
