Obvious Diversion

In an incredibly short amount of time, Dave Hyatt has simultaneously improved Safari to pass the Web Standard’s Acid2 test and shown that web standards not only matter, but that support can be improved in short order. Very impressive and certainly fun to watch. I hope this puppy gets rolled out to all users in an update soon.

Here’s hoping Firefox and Internet Explorer pass the Acid2 Test soon as well. The sooner the major browsers support improved standards, the sooner we all get to develop and use equally improved web-based applications.
